  Your first comment might be, “What about all those photos of the stars and the galaxies – how can they be close to the earth without us burning up? How can they be close without the astronomers and NASA not telling us?”

I don’t want you to believe me but do your own research. Look at photos of galaxies on Google. Do you think that some someone with a computer and imaging editing software could do something like that? You’ve seen beautiful pictures like this in the films, and how was that done? By computers. Remember 2001 A Space Odessy shown to the world in 1968? That looked real and all that was done without the computer programs we have today.

Still don’t believe? I don’t expect you, so let’s go on. The pictures of the galaxies usually has a section done in beuatiful color; any color you can think of are part of galaxies. Take one galaxy that has, for example, a magneta color that fills space that looks like it could cover 100 or 1,000 light years in length. Now, what produces that? Surely it can be a star as any star that gives off that much light would destroy all the stars and planet within that area. And where is that HUGE star? All I’ve seen are little points of lights – nothing so big that would justify such a huge part of the galaxy to light up.

Now, take a look at one of our planets in our solar system; pick one out any one. Say Saturn. When you bring up images on Google, why are there so many variations? Why are the rings of different shapes. Sure, there are some things that are kept the same, they do have to put rings around it, an they do have the “eye” that is always there, but there are too many other variations. Now, look at those photos again, can they be made by computer imaging graphics? Sure they can.

In short, all these “photos” are done by computer or by hand. Look at the artificial satellites – they are really fake looking. Look how show-room clean they are and look at the beautiful composite with the sun and the earth lined up just right – it looks like a studio shot.

I know you need more convincing than this, so let’s explore some more…

What does the Bible say about the stars

   There are many verses that has the word “stars” in them. We read that the seed of Abraham is compared to the stars in multitude. But what we want to look at is different context for stars. Here are some of them (this list is not complete but it will give you an idea):

Gen_1:16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

If stars were huge balls of fire, and that there are billions and trillions of them, don’t you think it would take God longer than a week to make them?

Job_9:7 Which commandeth the sun, and it riseth not; and sealeth up the stars.

Why “seal up the stars” that are billions of light years away?

Job_22:12 Is not God in the height of heaven? and behold the height of the stars, how high they are!

If the Universe is what we are told, then a “height of the stars” would have no meaning. There is no “up or down” in space; where is the base point, the ground from which to measure the height of something?

Job_38:7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

This sounds like something more that a nuclear chain reaction of plasma gas that is million miles in diameter. It sounds like something that has intelligence and sings.

Psa_147:4 He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.

Now, there could be 3,000 stars and God knows all their names but a billion x a billion stars and knowing their names?

Dan_8:10 And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.

This verse gives us the first indication of the size of stars. If stars are what we are told, even one star getting closer than 93 million miles would burn up the earth. So, how can stars come to the earth, unless they are very small and NOT a burning mass of gasious fire? It looks like these stars can be stamped upon, which would also indicate that there would be life still on the earth and not mass destruction. Now, many preachers would say, “This is figurative.” What I’ve notice that anything that preachers can’t explain, or that is “politically incorrect” they tell us it’s figurative!

Joe_3:15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.

Why should God darken the stars millions of light years away from here? We wouldn’t notice the difference. And, since we are TOLD that there is life on other planets, why should other people suffer?

Rev_1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

Seven stars in his right hand, sounds like something that can fit in your hand. Is this figurative, too? Read the rest of article before you determine it.

Rev_1:20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

Rev_2:1 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand,

Again, an indication that something is small.

Rev_6:13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

Here we read of stars falling to earth and comparing it to fig leaves. First, if stars are what we are told, then why would God use something that is the biggest thing you can image as a figure of speech, why not something that is more likely to happen? Also, notice the words “fell unto earth.” When is space what is the horizon, what can fall, what is up and down? There aren’t any. Keep this in mind as we read on.

Firmament – what is it?

Here are some verses with the word “firmament” in it:

Gen_1:6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

So, what is the firmament?

Firmament Strong’s H 7549 It’s a streching or covering of the sky.

Gen_1:7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

It looks like something that divides the waters from the waters.

Gen_1:8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

Gen_1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

This firmament there are stars in them, as stars help determine the seasons.

Gen_1:15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

Gen_1:17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

This indicates that it has to be relatively close to the earth. Stars thousands of light years away can’t be much use to us in giving light.

Gen_1:20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

This, I would interpet as the atmosphere where the fowl fly and not the region where the stars are.

Psa_19:1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

We can see the beauty of God’s handiwork in the stars we do see; they don’t have to be a billion billion stars – which we can’t see. Some preachers would say these billions of stars show’s God’s handiwork but why can’t they see that thosands of stars can’t show his handiwork, too?

Psa_150:1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.

Eze_1:22 And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.

Notice the word “crystal” we’ll come back to that later.

Dan_12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

Again, and indication that there are stars in the firmament.

The Bible says a lot about the “firmament” yet few people realize it. I will tell you something here that I have not read on any other flat earth website or seen on a video; I came across this quite by accident. I looked up the word “firmament” in Noah Webster’s 1828 Dictionary. This is the first dictionary that was complied in America. Back in early America, Christian education was part of educating a child (most of them were home schooled then). In this dictionary when a word is used, many times it would refer to the book and verse in the Bible where it’s found. Christians back then knew much more than Christians today. Noah Website was widely read and he must have learned of something that most people back then did not know. Here is the dictionary entry for “frimament.”

Webster 1828 Dictionary Firmament 1 Consisteing of crystal, as a crystaline palace. 2 Crystaline heavens, in ancient astronomy, two spheres inbetween primum mobile and the firmament, in the Ptolemaic system, which supposed the heavens to be solid and only susceptible of a single motion.

Here we are told that this firmament is like crystal, a mass of some sort. Also, this firmament is mobile and there is motion to it.

In your older Strong’s Concordance of the Bible, the word “firmament” has a meaning that it’s “beaten out, something that is like beaten brass.”

This firmament is believed by some scholars, especially those of centuries ago, that this is over the earth, above where the planes fly and is a dome that reaches down to the outer rim of the earth. This dome keeps our atmosphere in. Inside are the stars, but the stars are little points of light not a million miles in diameter plasma gases. And it is this dome that revolves around the earth, which gives the stars motion. It would be liken to a glass bell jar and within the glass there are the thousands of stars. Then, this bell jar slowly moves around the earth. Therefore, we can’t fly beyond this point or even to it in most cases.

What we see with out telescopes is within this firmament; the rest (all the galaxies) are made with CIG and even paintings. This gives us the impression that there are billions of stars, and thus, our Universe.

I hope you have a better idea of the stars and their relationship to the earth. You’ll probably still have other questions but I hope that you had more of your questions answered.
