It’s ironic but with my recent posts of pastors attacking flat earth believers, here is a pastor that is starting to learn about the flat earth. Praise God! Now, there may be some things that you disagree with him on (earlier in the video) but listen to what he said about the flat earth. If you want to get right to the part where he talks about this, go to the 20 minute mark and listen. You’ll notice that he says – on the one hand – that doesn’t necessarily believe in the flat earth. On the other hand, he talks about it. Maybe he is feeling water with his congregation?
As you know, the flat earth truth is making its rounds.
“Christians Are Made Foolish If They Believe In A Flat Earth”
I have often heard from preachers that say, “Christians are made foolish if they believe in a flat earth.” And they go on to say or hypothesize that it’s designed by some people to have Christian believe in a flat earth so they can look foolish. In a recent post I wrote about theologians that attacked flat earth believers, this very claim was made. We will examine this to see if these preachers are truthful.
First, we’ll take a look at what is already preached in the churches and see what really is foolish.
We are told:
God’s laws have been done away with (but not man’s laws)
That the people who hate Christ the most are God’s chosen people
That God took 13 billion years to create what we have on earth today (many Christians believe this but not all)
That the Bible cannot be trusted (by many Christians)
Then, there are other lies told to millions of Christians like, Ken and Gloria Copeland, Joel Osteen, Creflo Dollar, Benny Hinn and others. They say, “I am a god, that we are gods.” They also say that the more you give (to them, of course) the more God will bless you. This is the “Wealth and Prosperity” gospel. These people not only have a huge congregation in their church but also millions of followers on TV.
Any student of the Bible that is worthy of his name will know of the above false beliefs. Of course, there is much more that can be added but just the above is enough. In short, the Christians that believe, for example, that what Copeland preaches is the truth – it is THEM that are made foolish. It is these Christians that are being laughed at by others.
So, why would the government all of a sudden spread the flat earth belief around? Isn’t there enough lies that Christians believe in to make them look foolish? There certainly is! (There are some, otherwise good pastors, who do believe that it’s a government psy-ops job that is doing this.)
You can be sure that the Edomites, Pharisees or whomever you want to call them are sitting back and laughing.
What makes Christians foolish – including those who are not Christians – are those who believe in the heliocentric universe. Of course, we believed in this at one time, too. But you can be sure that those high up in the military and the space agencies around the world know it’s foolishness to believe in trillions of planets and stars zooming through space.
So, let’s look at the real foolishness of a Carl Sagon Universe. Imagine believing in:
water miraculously staying on a ball
that this ball is spinning at 1,000 mph and water still staying on it
that our planet is travelling around the sun at 65,000 mph without us feeling a breeze
that we are also travelling around the Milky Way at half a million miles per hour and we have not disintegrated to pieces
that we can receive beautiful pictures from a billion miles away
This, and much, much more is what makes Christians look foolish. I know, I was foolish at one time but since I was surround by other foolish people, I didn’t know the difference. But when you stop and think about what you are being told, and be honest and humble enough to look at it, you notice the lies that you’ve been told. I know that this is what I had to do and you probably went through the same thing.
We are told that “the meek shall inherit the earth.” But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. (Psa 37:11)
This is true BUT the word meek in Greek means something different; it means ‘teachable.’ It does not mean someone who will allow others to walk all over them. When you are not willing to learn to be taught and think that you learned everything since you were in kindergarten, that is where you are easily fooled.
Even in Webster’s Dictionary it says: mild of temper; soft; gentle; not easily provoked or irritated; yielding; given to forbearance under injuries.
This is a lot difference than what we normally think of.
God said that the ‘wise’ shall become like fools. It is them that – deliberate false preachers or those who have honestly been misled – they are foolish.
But with the many so-called leaders in Christianity today, they might as well continue to believe in a spinning ball where water and people can stay in place and not feel anything. I think that it is consistent that they believe in a heliocentric universe. Why? Because it goes along with the other lies that they preach. We, flat earth believers, are sorting through the lies.
They had their chance, they were witnessed to. If they don’t believe, fine, leave them and take your message to others that have not heard Christ’s truth about the earth. Let the others go their way and we, flat earthers, go our way.
A Response to a Goof-Ball Critic of the Flat Earth
Sometimes we come across a goof-ball critic of the flat earth. Now, I’m not talking about people who are honest critics, I’m talking about a real goof-ball. There was one reader who said – in reference to my post Click Here – a real stupid comment. He said words to the effect, “…flat earth believers are idiots. Don’t you know that is a CGI of the earth?” This was in reference to the picture I had on my post where the flat earth is on the left and some preacher on the right.
Of course I know that it’s a CGI (or, more accurately, an artist’s rendition of the flat earth that was scanned in)! All you readers know this. But this reader had to make a stupid comment as if he was discovering something new. Everyone one that has a flat earth website or makes flat earth videos uses a drawing of some sort of the flat earth. We all know the reason and you do, too, but apparently there are some critics are thinking that flat earth believers are using real photos of the flat earth. Well, we know that it’s a CGI as there is no photo that exists of the flat earth!
This guy’s remark is so stupid that it’s funny! (Thanks for the good laugh!) Assuming this guy is real in his remark and for the few that think the same, let me make a simple comment – how do you get outside the firmament (dome) to take a photo? How do you get above the firmament to get high enough to take a picture or video of the surface? How do you get to the side of the earth to get a profile of it? The simple reason is – you can’t. That is why CGI pictures are used – to give an idea to the readers.
For those who have bought an e-book of some kind, you often see a picture of it in “hard cover,” for example. Do you expect to get a physical hard cover of it? No. This is just done to engage the senses of the buyer – that is all. The same with images of the flat earth.
Maybe the military got a picture of a small part of the earth looking inwards to the Antarctic that would show some kind of curvature but this is only a guess. In any regards no flat earth image is possible.
You can be sure that the government, the military, will not want to show you anything that indicates a flat earth. After all, if they did, their goes the belief that we evolved on our own without God.
Could Psalms 115.16 be telling us that we shall never travel in ‘space?’ I think so. The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’S (Yahweh’s); but the earth he has given to the children of men. Psalms 115.16 KJV
Anyhow, I’m glad for the goof-ball remark, as this is something that you might encounter yourself so you know what to expect. And, by this comment, it allowed me to right another article.

The vault of heaven is a crucial concept. The word “firmament” appears in the King James version of the Old Testament 17 times, and in each case it is translated from the Hebrew word raqiya, which meant the visible vault of the sky. The word raqiya comes from riqqua, meaning “beaten out.” In ancient times, brass objects were either cast in the form required or beaten into shape on an anvil. A good craftsman could beat a lump of cast brass into a thin bowl. Thus, Elihu asks Job, “Can you beat out [raqa] the vault of the skies, as he does, hard as a mirror of cast metal (Job 37:18)?”
Elihu’s question shows that the Hebrews considered the vault of heaven a solid, physical object. Such a large dome would be a tremendous feat of engineering. The Hebrews (and supposedly Yahweh Himself) considered it exactly that, and this point is hammered home by five scriptures:
Job 9:8, “…who by himself spread out the heavens [shamayim]…”
Psalm 19:1, “The heavens [shamayim] tell out the glory of God, the vault of heaven [raqiya] reveals his handiwork.”
Psalm 102:25, “…the heavens [shamayim] were thy handiwork.”
Isaiah 45:12, “I, with my own hands, stretched out the heavens [shamayim] and caused all their host to shine…”
Isaiah 48:13, “…with my right hand I formed the expanse of the sky [shamayim]…”
If these verses are about a mere illusion of a vault, they are surely much ado about nothing. Shamayim comes from shameh, a root meaning to be lofty. It literally means the sky. Other passages complete the picture of the sky as a lofty, physical dome. God “sits throned on the vaulted roof of earth [chuwg], whose inhabitants are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the skies [shamayim] like a curtain, he spreads them out like a tent to live in…[Isaiah 40:22].” Chuwg literally means “circle” or “encompassed.” By extension, it can mean roundness, as in a rounded dome or vault. Job 22:14 says God “walks to and fro on the vault of heaven [chuwg].” In both verses, the use of chuwg implies a physical object, on which one can sit and walk. Likewise, the context in both cases requires elevation. In Isaiah, the elevation causes the people below to look small as grasshoppers. In Job, God’s eyes must penetrate the clouds to view the doings of humans below. Elevation is also implied by Job 22:12: “Surely God is at the zenith of the heavens [shamayim] and looks down on all the stars, high as they are.”
This picture of the cosmos is reinforced by Ezekiel’s vision. The Hebrew word raqiya appears five times in Ezekiel, four times in Ezekiel 1:22-26 and once in Ezekiel 10:1. In each case the context requires a literal vault or dome. The vault appears above the “living creatures” and glitters “like a sheet of ice.” Above the vault is a throne of sapphire (or lapis lazuli). Seated on the throne is “a form in human likeness,” which is radiant and “like the appearance of the glory of the Lord.” In short, Ezekiel saw a vision of God sitting throned on the vault of heaven, as described in Isaiah 40:22.
As you know, you have Christians who believe that the earth was created along the lines of the ‘Big Bang’ theory. They say they don’t believe in evolution but the interpret Scripture in such a way that it goes along with the atheist ‘Big Bang,’ in that it took God billions of years to have what we have today. These Christians believe that the earth started out as one of trillions of planets that explode it. Now, these people also say they believe in the Bible, but if they bother to read Genesis they will see that the earth was created BEFORE the sun and moon. Well, in a flat earth model, this is logical.
The Genesis creation story provides the first key to the Hebrew cosmology. The order of creation makes no sense from a conventional perspective but is perfectly logical from a flat-earth viewpoint. The earth was created on the first day, and it was “without form and void (Genesis 1:2).” On the second day, a vault the “firmament” of the King James version was created to divide the waters, some being above and some below the vault. Only on the fourth day were the sun, moon, and stars created, and they were placed “in” (not “above”) the vault.
So, when you have these preachers – some of whom are false prophets that Christ spoke about – attacking flat earth believers, they don’t know what they are talking about.
If the Universe was created as non-believers tell us, God would have said said so, and He would have told us the order of Creation as evolutionists tell us. But what God told us was that the earth was created before the sun and moon, and that He would also have told us that there are other planets suns out there.
You can’t claim you know Scripture if you don’t believe in a literal 6 Day Creation (the 7th Day God rested).
Continuing in our talk of theologians attacking flat earth believers. If you had seen the previous Post you heard one preacher go on at some length attacking flat earth believers, saying that talking about the flat earth takes Christians away from Jesus. He goes on to say the Apostles talked about Jesus Christ crucified. This is typical of someone who wants to avoid talking on a subject that is not comfortable for them.
You go in most any church today and they talk on the same subject or stay in the same books of the Bible. They continue to give the “milk of the word” instead of the “meat of the word” as Christ said. What these preachers or false prophets avoid is the rest of the Bible. Yes, we should talk about Jesus Christ crucified, but what about Christ resurrected? They don’t talk about that. They also don’t talk on what Christ himself said – that if you love me you will obey my commandments. What are His Commandments? His Laws, Statues and Judgements.
Christ and the Apostles often quoted from the Old Testament. You have preachers today, probably like the one you heard, never go to the Old Testament or mention very little of it. What did God say? What do we read in the Bible? That man does not live by bread alone but by EVERY WORD of God. Well, that includes the verses that talks about the sun, moon and earth! But they don’t want to talk about that because their congregation just might learn about the flat earth.
These preachers haven’t been to other flat earth websites that do talk about other verses of the Bible. True, some just talk about the verses that deal with the flat earth but the readers can continue to learn more about God by going elsewhere. Of course, these preachers have not been to the website that you are reading this on right now (ChristianFlatEarthMinistry.org ) and read the other posts on other topics of the Bible.
There is nothing wrong with having a website that is exclusively about the flat earth. If these preachers went on another site that talked on one topic, they they would not say anything – provided that they agree with it! But since they don’t agree with the flat earth, they have a bone to pick.
I guess they feel it safe to attack flat earth believers and show righteous indignation because IT’S SAFE! They don’t have to worry about being attacked by Jews, Muslims, homosexuals and Communists. After all, flat earthers are “free game,” and it makes like they are doing something. With Christianity so neutered down there is not much else for them to attack. But if they studied their Bible they would learn that Christian teaching would offend many people and groups and just about all of them would be “politically incorrect.”
This preacher who did most of the talking in the video said that it’s distracting and getting people away from Christ. I don’t see that and I’m sure you don’t see it either. From my personal experience and from what people have written to me, people have come to know the Bible better which includes knowing Christ more. So, the preacher lied right there.
When you have people who won’t even read the Bible and you talk about the flat earth, it makes them think and with some, realise that God is real and right above us. I have never said to those who read and learn about the flat earth to not read the Bible, and neither has Rob Skiba, nor others that have the Bible and the flat earth tied together.
You could have a website that is focused on biblical economics, for example, where it talks about the elimination of usury and the cancellation of debt every Sabbeth Year. And when the non-Christian learns about this, I’m sure it makes some of them want to know what else the Bible says about how we should live our life and run our society. To attack those who say that God says charging of usury is a sin, and that it gets away from God’s word would be lie. But I guess there are many preachers that are against this because they have a mortgage on their church; the preacher might have his pension in an interest-bearing bonds. So, it would be a good cover for them to say, “This is nonsense that we should make charging of interest a sin; this is distracting Christians from knowing Christ more.” I hope you see that they use this as cover, as they don’t want you to know about biblical economics.
When you get to close to the truth and even if you don’t mention the group that is making money from it, you will be attacked by that group or individuals in that group. If you have read Eustace Mullins book, Secrets of the Federal Reserve Bank, he was attacked verbally. This book came out in the early 1950s and all of a sudden Mullins was being accused of “anti-Semitism.” He didn’t know why at the time as he did not mention anything about the Jews. But he did have names in the book and many of them were Jewish. Well, you can see why they didn’t want people to know about the evils of interest/usury as certain rich and powerful Jews make money off it.
So, look to be attacked for the same reasons. IF what you are talking on affects certain right people from making money OR if it brings people out of the darkness and into the light of Christ, you will be attacked, too. Just like Christ was with the Pharisees and Sadducee.
Christ said that the world hated him and it will hate you, too. We read, “Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?” Galatians 4:16
Yes, we are hated – even by our own kind. And we are hated because we tell the truth.
“If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. John 15:18
This video has Christian pastors verbally attacking Rob Skiba of his flat earth belief. One guy, Steven Anderson, has some good preaching on his videos but others are way off base – including his attack of Rob Skiba. Anderson really helps the Jews than the Christians. He calls the flat earth believers satan and Skiba he calls evil. This goes to show how much the church is taken over the antichrists. There are some pastors and ordinary Christians that are so brainwashed they can’t think logically, while others are part of the Babylonian system. When someone can quote and quote the Bible, then deliberately ignores other passages, it makes me believe that they are part of the latter group.

Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. (John 17:17)
As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. (John 17:18)
And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. (John 17:19)
