Note: This notice will be on many articles that are on the Bible but not necessarily on the flat earth. I put this notice here for new people who come here for flat earth articles and videos. If you are new to this site, we have plenty of articles and videos on the flat earth. Just click on any of the categories that you see on the side of this article to find them.
I find it necessary to put other articles on the Bible as our people are being misled on many vital issues. We know that the preachers and just about everyone else in society has misled us when it comes to the flat earth. So, the next logical question is, what else have they lied to us on concerning biblical truths. Well, they will be explored here as I come across them and have time to post them. I hope that you enjoy them.
You may first ask, “How can there be good preachers if they are lying?” Actually, they aren’t in the sense that they should not write on topics that they don’t know about. But I put the word “good” for those who DO have good articles/sermons but occasionally they write something that is wrong.
There are false teachers that you wouldn’t believe a thing that they say – they are so bad. These are the “wolves in sheep’s clothing.” Such preachers are Joel Osteen and Kenneth Copeland. Then there are some preachers who give some good sermons but are wrong on some other issues. These are the people I want to talk about. They appeal to the conservative patriotic group of Christians but, at the same time, want to be “politically correct” so as not to lose their following. This is the group or individuals that are particularly dangerous, it is what Christ said, “If it were possible they would deceive the very elect.”
You can detect outright frauds even if you just know the basics of what the Bible says. Such people are the Osteens, Copelands and Benny Hinns. But the others are harder to detect unless you know your Scripture.
Just the other day I read an article about the word “destruction” and “destroy.” This is by a woman preacher who does have some good articles on the Bible but she has some that are absolutely wrong.
The purpose of this article is to show how to detect false preaching. If you know what to look for, you’ll be able to spot such deception by whomever.
Lorraine Day wrote an article on the meaning of the word “destruction” and that it doesn’t mean “kill.” I won’t go into the ancient Greek meaning of the word or Strong’s Concordance number and its meaning as it’s not necessary here.
Basically, Day says that “destruction” is not “killed,” it’s bringing man to repentance. OK, this is understood.
Now, before I go on, if the pastor or priest has a false belief, they will destort all other Scripture to fit that belief, or “political correctness.” In this case it’s “pacifism.” Mrs. Day is big on pacifism – which happens to be on the same side of the antichrists (there is more than one antichrist in the world) and the New World Order. Right there, Day should know that something is wrong when you are on the same side as your supposed enemy.
So, what does she do? She quotes Scripture that is out of context.
I’ll quote what Day had written:
Because men are unable to accomplish all that they wish, they imagine that God also is unable to save the vast majority of humanity. This basic error has so warped the minds of men that they have corrupted the Scriptures to uphold it.
All man knows how to do is to kill something that he cannot control such as a hardened criminal. Is this God’s way of handling the situation? Gods says “I’m not like you, My ways are higher than your ways and My thoughts higher than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55:8) The KJV is: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD
This is where most Christians are led astray. They read along and agree with what is being said, so you can say, they are in an “agreeing mode.” you read a lot that you agree with, but when that person goes off track you are still agreeing with them – unless you know your subject.
You know the biblical quote is in the Bible so you think that it must be right. Yes, what was said is in the Bible, “My ways are higher than your ways,” but what does that mean? It means that (in the case of a criminal and what to do with him) that man’s way of dealing with the situation is different than God’s ways.
With Day’s example, she said “a hardened criminal.” Let’s take a murderer for example, you’ll agree that is hardened criminal. It’s not a small crime it’s a major crime. So, what does man do? What does today’s society do with a murderer? They put him in prison for 15 years and let him out in half the time on good behavior, as a typical example. I know different states and different countries have different ways but it’s usually a period of time in prison. There are some places, like many states in the U.S. that the murderer is put to death. I’m sure that Day had this in mind, as she said in her article that “what man cannot control he kills.” So, she is implying that man would kill a murderer and that this is wrong. She might even say this is a sin.
If society puts someone in prison for, X number of years for murder, this is NOT God’s way. What does He say we should do with a murderer? He says that the criminal’s blood must be shed. In fact, the Bible calls for capital punishment. We also know from the New Testament that:
God is the same yesterday, today and forever
That Christ said, “If you love me you’d obey my Commandments.” What are the Commandments? The laws that we should obey, one of which is how to deal with murderers.
Heaven and earth will pass away before one dot of the law is changed.
In short, the Law is still in effect. So, this verse that Mrs. Day quotes “doth witness against” her and she doesn’t even realise it! Man’s way is to put certain criminals in prison, but God said to execute them. So, since God requires death for certain crime, does that mean “what God can’t control He kills, too?” If you listen to Lorraine Day, you would believe it. God had all those that lived in Sodom and Gomorrah killed, too.
I don’t know where Day thinks it’s a sin if you can’t control a person, and that person is proven to be a murdered, you kill him, and that is bad!
Since we know biblically what God does in the case of murder, AND we know His ways are higher than man’s, that means we are not doing it His way, and this is true. What does the American Government do? Put a person in prison, even if he is a mass murdered. I know that there are some exceptions in the U.S. where they are executed. But we do know that mass murderers are sitting in prison. Doing it God’s way, His higher way, we should execute them.
Day makes it sound almost Scriptural and a sin when she says, “What man cannot control he kills?” How in the world can you control a behavior of someone else? Even if we lived under biblical laws, and had them the laws of the land, there will still be some who do crazy things for some reason. So, for some crazy person that goes out and kills 5 people, for example, we somehow should have control of that person; somehow should have prevent him from doing it? Day, who is a pacifist, would probably be happy that he be put in prison. But that is MAN’S WAY and not God’s way. This is what Isaiah 55:9 is all about! So, this statement is telling that Lorraine Day is wrong; she actually gave a biblical quote “that witnessed against her.”
By the way, the next verse is one that is related to the flat earth: (Isa 55:9) For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Day said, “Is this God’s way of handling the situation,” (in reference to a hardened criminal). If you read her full original article, she gives NO ANSWER! She also said “hardened criminal,” but did not go into exactly what is a hardened criminal. She is very vague here. First, as to what God will do, it depends on what kind of criminal it is. A hardened criminal is not a phrase in the Bible. But it’s important to know what kind of crime a person committed as it determines what God WOULD WANT US TO DO.
A “hardened criminal,” by many police departments, could be someone who had repeatedly stolen cars. Should this person be put to death? Should he face capital punishment? No. He should pay back double; it’s called “retribution.” This is what is called for biblically for when something is stolen and it depends on what is stolen depends on if he should pay back to the victim 2 fold, 3 fold or 4 fold.
Now, if the person killed someone, whether it be one person or several people, the penalty is death. God is quite plain on this. But I assume that Day would be on the side of the New World Order and say that “the law has been done away with.” No, the only thing that was “done away with,” is the RITUAL and not the Law. Christ paid the price; there is no more animal sacrifice, Christ was our ultimate sacrifice.
