Stupid Remark by a Preacher

Heaven above 1

I have heard a preacher say that, “It would make sense that God created the Universe the way He did.” (In reference to the heliocentric model and refuting the geocentric model of the Universe.)

This remark is really stupid when you think about it AND think of the billions of spinning stars and planets at the same time.

No, it would make no sense at all for God to create a planet that spins along with travelling in other directions at the same time. If you were to build an environment for construction workers, would you do so that would be round? Would you build a platform that would be moving at 500,000mph? Would you do so if there were constant shakes, tremors and bumps? Of course no!

In short, IF we were on a round planet and travelling though space in many directions, we’d FEEL IT. Of course, in the make pretend world of Copernicus and Newton they explain everything away. Naturally, God created a flat and stationary earth because He knew that it would have to be this way in order to:

make things level

sail from one point to another

building homes

doing delicate work that requires complete stillness

to be able to fly from one place to another

where “up” and “down” is the same direction for everyone

and simple because it’s common sense and logical

That is why God build the earth the way He did – flat and stationary. That is how we build buildings and infrastructure – with everything based on flat and stationary foundation. Heck, even if we decided to live in the mountains – how do we build our homes? FLAT. We have to level out the FOUNDATION and everything built on that would be level, too. Can you imagine if a builder said, “The floor is only 3 inches off but that’s OK. After all the earth is a sphere and you have no problem with that.” naturally, no home owner would put up with that. If a floor was off, say 3 inches, the chairs would not be flat, the table would not be flat. Each time you changed the weight on the table it would shift. An orange on the table would roll off. We simply could not put up with living in a home that is not flat. So why would God create a world for us to be like that?

The earth is flat and stationary; that is why we can build and travel on it. Thank God!

Very good article. It’s amazing how many people I talk to that shrug their shoulders and just keep believing the globe is our home. It just doesn’t make sense to believe we live on a round earth with so many proven discrepancies.
