My experience is contrary to what I was taught to believe, viz; that the earth is a globe. As a boy, in Jamaica, I used to ask my parents many questions about the earth; and my mother told me there were several points in Jamaica from which Cuba could be seen. Later I proved this to be true. In March, 1881, I went from Montego Bay to St. Ann’s Bay; some companions went with me up the hills, and the morning being bright and very clear, I saw two small sails standing out from the shore quite distinctly, about five miles off. Another sail was also visible, about 80 miles away, which I and my friends made out to be a barque leaving Cuba. This we saw with the naked eye.

One of my companions, a pilot boy, had a small telescope with a range of 40 miles, but on looking through the glass we cold not see these ships; so the owner of the telescope, whose turn it was to watch for ships, stayed until he was able to ascertain that the vessels were going to Kingston, Jamaica.

I would suggest a few causes which prevent anyone seeing a ship a great distance away, although water is level:

1 The nature of the atmosphere. 2 The capacity of our visual organs.

Note: The distance from Jamaica to Cuba, using Montego Bay as the point to the closest land mass in Cuba is approximately 119 miles or 191 kilometres. This would be much to far to see if the earth was a globe.

I find it interesting in that this author gave the range in miles of how far the telescope could see. Today all you hear is how much power the telescope has.

The Three Poles Experiment

Note: This is from a booklet that was written around the turn of the 20th Century. The grammar, spelling and style is kept the same. To a few readers out there: if you think a word doesn’t exist, look it up in an old dictionary.

Trickery has long been involved in covering up the flat earth – it didn’t start with modern space agencies like NASA, it’s that they have just refined how to fool the people.

The Three Poles Trick: A Canal Experiment

As the very foundation of modern astronomy rests on the assumption that we are living on a whirling globe, all sorts of devices are resorted to to support the idea of the earth’s sphericity.

After having demolished some of the best “proofs” it is surely not necessary to examine and review every statement offered in support of this modern and absurd fallacy. But we will briefly refer to one or two others before going on to examine the question of the Earth’s supposed motions.

We are informed that the Earth’s curvature could be “proved” by three poles placed in a straight line; and such an experiment was tried in a noted instance upon the Bedford Canal, Cambridgeshire. Our examination of this “proof” may thrown some light upon the “trick” which was then supposed to win a wager.

We shall, however, quote again from Mr. Gregory’s book, published in 1892, p. 110.

“If three poles of exactly the same height be placed in a line the middle one always appears higher than the other two outer ones. Let three poles be fixed in line with their tops cut off at exactly the same height above some level surface (level mind you!), such as the surface of a canal, then, if a telescope is sighted along the first to the third pole the top of the middle pole will appear above the line joining the tops of the two outer ones. The cause of this is the curvature of the earth’s surface, and if the experiment can be repeated (why cannot it?) in various parts of the Earth, and (“if”) it was found that the curvature was everywhere the same, this would prove that the Earth’s form is globular, and an approximate determination of its size could be obtained. It is found that the middle pole rises 8 inches above the line joining the two out when the distance between each pole is a mile.”

This is a very specious paragraph. It reads well, and an unsuspecting reader might easily be misled by it. But let us examine it a little, and it will be “found to be wholly hypothetical.”

The writer of the paragraph quoted does not say that such an experiment had been tried and that the result was found to be what he said it “would” be if so tried. But in the style of most modern astronomers he jumps from the subjunctive, or hypothetical, mood to the positive, or indicative mood, and says; “If” three equal poles “be placed in a line,” meaning I suppose in a straight line, “the middle one always appears higher than the other two outer ones.” Of course, “if the middle pole is higher, and if it be left in its position, it “always” will appear so; but this is not what Mr. G. meant to say. We may guess his meaning though his words do not express it. But were he to condescend to give particulars as to time and place others might try the same experiment, and the trick might be found out. But we think we can expose it as it is.

Three poles have to be “fixed in line with their tops cut off at exactly the same height above some level surface.” Now, mind their tops must be “cut off.” Good! It is, therefore, self-evident that if the equal poles are fixed on a “level surface” at “exactly the same height,” one pole cannot be higher than another; not even 8 inches. If they appear otherwise the poles could not have been fixed at “exactly the same height”! Yet the writer says: “If a telescope is sighted along the first to the third,” the middle pole “will” appear higher. The language is vague. The question is, does it appear higher, or does it no? Out scientist says it “will.” Well, we shall see soon whether it “will” or no; though 8 inches in a mile cannot appear much.

In the meantime we ask, what does he mean by placing the telescope “along the first” pole? This pole like the others, is upright and perpedicular to the horizon; how then can the telescope be sighted “along” the top of it? This is where the trick comes in! If you remove the first pole and put the tlescope in its place, so as to “sight” only the other two, or if you rest the telescope on the top of the first pole, the middle one may appear higher than the third; because the third being further away, looks perspectively less than the middle one which is a mile nearer. Without asking how there can be a middle pole of two, if you remove the telescope some distance away from the fist pole, and look over or along the tops of all the three poles then they will be “found” to be in the same straight line. And if the telescope be properly adjusted so as to prevent the “error of collimation” the middle pole will not be found 8 inches higher than the other two. This can be tested by experiment; but we shall proceed to prove it by the following diagram.

Let A, B, C, represent three equal poles placed at any convenient and equal distances apart, in a direct line upon the Earth’s supposed curved surface – A D. Then, according to the theory of our astronomical friend the top of the middle pole (B) will be “found” to be higher than either of the poles at A and C, as in the diagram.

Let us suppose for argument’s sake that the pole B has been “found” to be higher than the pole C. Now without removing any of the three poles A,B, C, let us add another pole – D – at exactly the same distance as the others. Ignoring pole A, let the telescope be removed to the pole B, and let it be placed in the same relative position to B as it was to A. Join the tops of B and D to represent their false line of sight. It will now be seen that C is the middle pole of the three, B, C, D; and by the same “line of reasoning” the top of the middle pole – C – will be “found to be higher than either of the poles D and B. but by this “line of reasoning” we have already “proved” that the pole B was higher than pole C, and now we “prove,” in the same way, that pole C is higher than pole B! That is, the pole B – the middle pole experimented upon, at the same time is both higher and lower than the other pole ( C ), which is absurd! Wherefore the pole B is NOT higher than the pole C, but exactly the same height above the same level surface”; and therefore this experiment does not “prove that the Earth’s form is globular.”

1) “The middle pole will (not) appear above the line joining the tops of the two ouoter ones,” if the experiment be properly conducted; and, 2) “the cause of this is (not) the curvature of the Earth’s surface,” for the mere assumption of the Earth’s curvature cannot be the “cause” of anything, that is of anything found in Nature.

But stop! It may be – yes, it is – the “cause” of otherwise intelligent men making mis-statements, false statements, and misrepresentations in support of an absurd theory, which its founder confessed was “feigned” for quite another purpose than for strict truth and integrity; for as we have now abundantly shown, the effort to support this superstitious system causes its advocated to depart alike from both.

This is further illustrated by their diagrams of ships at sea, and the way they make them climb over a supposed hill of water.

The foregoing diagrams are specimens of the false perspective given in astronomical works and school books. They are so flagrant as to need no refutation. The first ship is sledom placed on the “top” of the diagram, but a litle to one side, so that it will appear to rise first before it is made descending at once the awful decline. But then this would be to expose the “trick,” of which no doubt the better class of astronomers are fully aware; yet none of them hitherto have had the courage to denounce the deception practised by their supporters. This is left for others.

That it may be seen we are not alone in speaking thus plainly, we will quote, from Things to Come, part of an address by Mr. Thomas A. Edison, originally printed in Suggestive Therapeutics, he says:

“There are more frauds in modern science than anywhere else…Take a whole pile of them that I could name, and you will find uncertainty, if not imposition, in half of what they state as scientific truth. They have time and again set down experiments as done by them, curious out of the way experiments that they never did, and upon which they have founded so-called scientific truths. I have been thrown off my track often by them, and for months at a time. Try the experiment yourself and you will find the result altogether different.”

Such is the testimony of a practical scientist and experimenter, and we know his testimony is true as regards theoretical astronomy. We could quote other testimonies, but as we have already given proof that such “frauds” are practised, we think it unnecessary to do so here.

IF YOU STILL SEE some object at this distance then “We have a problem Huston.!” By the way, the mathematicians gave us this figure based on the earth being 25,000 miles in circumference, using spherical trigonometry.

Print this out and take it with you when you talk about the flat earth.

In the UK Daily Mail for New Year’s Day 2021, there an article on the weather about a deep freeze that the UK will be getting in two weeks. It said that normally, the weather pattern comes from the West but this time it’s coming from Siberia, Russia. It went on to explain that there is a pocket of hot air 50 C (approx. 122 F) in the upper stratosphere. Now, most people would think that this is odd and give no further thought.

As flat earth believers, a critic would say, “If the Sun is close to Earth as you say, why doesn’t it get hotter as you go up rather than colder?” This is a valid question and most flat earthers would not know how to answer.

It’s true when you ascend a mountain it gets colder and colder. In Ecuador, though it’s at the equator, you can see snow on high mountain tops, such as Cotopaxi, all year long. So, if the Sun is 3,000 miles above the earth as many of us believe, why doesn’t it get hotter? The proof that it does get hotter is in this article I’m referring to (sorry I don’t have the link to it as, at the time, I didn’t give it much thought).

The fact is, that it does get colder and colder the higher you go – UNTIL you reach a certain point. And that certain point is higher than the highest mountain on Earth. That is why no mountain climber has ever experienced it. Now, if you go in a plain that is flying 35,000 feet, you will see indications that it’s not freezing outside. Look out your window and sometimes you see little streams of water going across your passenger window. I have seen this years ago (before I became a flat earther) and never gave it much though. Well, if its suppose to be freezing like on Mt. Everest, you would not see water in its liquid form – it would be frozen! This indicates that the temperature is above freezing and most probably very high above freezing. But don’t expect your pilot to tell you. They are probably instructed to not say anything UNLESS the temperature is well below freezing or give the temperature only up to a certain altitude.

How this pocket of high temperature is in the Stratosphere, that’s another subject. Don’t forget, the media doesn’t tell you the full truth. Sometimes a little truth gets out – you just have to “connect the dots.”

How the temperature gets lower and lower and then gradually gets higher, I have no idea. But I dare say that there are some meteorologist who knows the physics of it.

Getting back to the closeness of the Sun, it only makes sense that the temperature would have to get higher at some point the closer you get to the Sun.

Now, about that “Red Bull” sponsored jump from something like over 100,000. If you recall, some guy went up in a balloon that had, what looked like, a “space capsule” attached to it, then in a full “space suite” he jumped out. This does not mean that it was super cold when he jumped out. The suit would have given him protection when he reached a lower altitude where is was very cold. Plus, he would still need oxygen support for a good distance until he reached, 15,000 feet. So, this “Red Bull” jump would not prove one way or the other of temperature he was at when he jump from the container he was in. But my guess is, that it was hot at the altitude he jumped.

Anyhow, this should give you something to think about.

The Heavens Above Stretched Out

The Earth and Ocean not a Globe; but a circular-plane, according to the two great books of God, Revelation and Nature.

According to the book of Revelation, the word “world” is used more than 260 times in the Bible, and the word “earth” 350 times. The words, “round” or “globe” or “sphere” are never one applied to it. Not a single expression is used from the beginning of the inspired book to the end, suggestive of the idea that the earth is a planet, or, suggesting that the earth is anything else than a stationary plane.

1 Passages speaking of the heavens above as “stretched out,” and the earth spread forth and stretched out upon the waters, so that the line of the heavens is parallel with that of the earth. – Isaiah 42:5; Psalm 136:6. “To Him that stretched out the earth above the waters.” – Psalm 24:2. “He hath founded the earth upon the seas and established it upon the floods.” Genesis 1:10, informs us that the waters were gathered together unto one place, and called the seas, and upon those seas the earth was founded, consequently the waters are beneath and around the earth. The waters sustain the earth, sustain the earth as a whole. – 2nd Peter 3:5. “For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing or consisting out of the water and in the water.” R.V. Reads: “For this they wilfully forget, that there were heavens from of old, and an earth compacted out of water and amidst (or through) water, by the word of God.” Compacted – held together – leagued with – united. Now look! The earth is one – the continents appear to us who are on the surface as being a great distance apart, yet these continents are joined together; they are connected in the water and together they constituted one earth. These connections deep down in the water of continent with continent, are themselves sustained by the waters underneath. “The waters under the earth.” Those water under the earth, sustain the earth as a whole; sustain the earth in its entirely. “The earth compacted out of water and amidst water by the word of God.” The dry land above, or out of the water compacted, united with, the earth in the water and that again compacted, united with, the other continents, amidst or though water.

The continent of America is compacted, united with the continents of Europe and Asia, amidst or through the water of the Atlantic. The continent of Africa, though connected with Asia by the Isthmus of Suez, yet is compacted, united with Asia and Europe amidst or through the water of the Mediterranean Sea, Red Sea, and probably Arabian Sea. Australia compacted, united with Asia amidst or through the water of the Indian Ocean.

God said, let the dry land appear, the dry land did appear. Let the waters be gathered together unto one place, and the waters flowed into the place appointed for them, beneath and around the earth. Here we are on this earth – living, moving, working, trading, buying and selling. This earth is a real earth, it is inhabited as God meant it to be, and some of our fellow beings go down to the sea in ships and see the wonders of God on the great waters. This earth is a real, material earth, and this material earth, really, unmistakably and without doubt, is compacted out of the water and amidst the water. But the planet earth of Copernicus and Sir Isaac Newton is not real – it has no material existence, it is fictitious and visionary.

2 There are also passages showing that the waters surround the earth have their bounds on the great southern circumference. Job 26:10, “He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end.” In Margin, “until the end of light with darkness.” In the R.V. Is is “He hath described a boundary on the face of the waters, unto the confines of light and darkness.” Job 38:8, 9, 10, “Who shut up the sea with doors when it brake forth.” 9 – “When I made the cloud, the garment thereof and thick darkness a swaddling band for it.” 10th and 11th, “And prescribed for it my decree (or boundary) and set bars and doors, Good Hope are the ends. The great God sitteth over the circle of the earth – over the north centre and seeth to the ends of the earth. Isa. 45:22. “Look unto me and by ye saved all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.”

Job 38:11 “And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall they proud waves be stayed?” And far out there on the southern circumference, are solid and impassable ramparts of ice, barriers – cliffs of ice – forbidding and further progress of daring navigators. It was so with Capitan Wilks and Jas. C. Ross. Well, you ask: Do the Scriptures mention these solid walls and barriers of ice out there on the southern circumference? Yes, they do. Job 80:30; “The face of the deep is frozen.” The daring navigators on the southern seas, who have told us on the solid walls of ice – the barriers and cliffs of ice – disclose to use the meaning, the sublime meaning of such passages as Job 38:30; Ps. 33:7.

The earth and ocean together constitute an immense circular plane, according to the other book of God, Nature. There are phenomenal proofs that the earth is not a globe, with north and south pole, but that the earth is a plane, having central region for its north, and, the southern circumference for its south.

3 Long periods of light and darkness, regularly alternating is a phenomenal peculiarity of the north, but not of the south, and proves that the north is the central region, and the south is the circumference.

During the summer solstice, the northern or central region of the earth is illuminated for several months together, during those moths it is a long day without a night. This is a phenomenal characteristic of the north. This being the central region, the diameter of the sun’s orbit in June is much smaller than that of its December or winter solstice, its speed is not so great or rapid as it is in December when on its outer path, or orbit on the Tropic of Capricorn, consequently its rays continue over the northern centre for several months. But in the south this is no the case, though it would be if the earth were a planet. In the south, on the contrary, the day closes abruptly in summer, they have little or no twilight. In the south seas beyond the 50th parallel, the sun will be shining brightly, and, in a very short time, the sailor who happens to be aloft, will be in pitch darkness. The sun seems to drop below the sea. At Auckland, New Zealand, there is little or no twilight. At Nelson, it is light till about 8 o’clock, then in a few minutes it becomes too dark to see anything, and the change comes over in almost no time. Twilight lasts but a short time in so low a latitude as 28 degrees south, according to Captain Basil Hall, so that from 28 degrees south, to beyond 50 degrees south, there is little or n twilight. But, in the corresponding latitudes north, the twilight continues for hours after visible sunset. In the north at midsummer, for many nights in succession, the sky is scarcely darkened.

4 The difference between north and south with regard to organic life, vegetables and animal, show that the earth and ocean is a circular-plane. The long periods of sunlight in the north, develop with great rapidity numerous forms of vegetable life, and furnish subsistence for multitudes of living creatures. But in the south, where the regions is circumferential (not central as in the north, the sunlight cannot linger, but sweeps quickly over the greater southern circle, completing it in the same time as the shorter circle of the north, viz., 24 hours, and so has not time to excite the surface, has not time to aid and stimulate animal and vegetable life to the same extent as in the north, consequently in comparatively low southern latitudes, everything wears an aspect of desolation.

The South Georgia’s latitude 54 and 55 degrees in the very height of summer, is covered deeply with frozen snow; but in the farthest north, nature is adorned with summer beauty; flowers and grasses bloom during a brief and rapid summer. Keruelan, 49 degrees south, boasts 18 species of plants, only one being useful in cases of scurvy, it is a peculiar kind of cabbage; but Iceland, 65 degrees north, 15 degrees nearer the pole in the north, boasts 870 species of plants. Kerguelan’s land, or, Desolation island, was discovered in 1772 by M. de Kerguelan, a French Navigator. Here December corresponds to our June. According to Captain Morrell Keruelan is situated in latitude 48 degrees, 40” south, longitude 69 degrees 6” east. Many of the hills on this island, though of moderate height, were covered with snow, notwithstanding that the season was midsummer. January corresponding to our July. There is not the appearance of a tree or shrub on the whole island. Captain Morrell, 1822 to 1831, in latitude 62 degrees 27” south, longitude 94 degrees 11” east, met with extensive fields of ice, one of which would have measured 150 miles, east and west.

The bones of musk oxen, killed by Esquimaux, were found on the 79th parallel north, while in the south, man is not found above the 56th parallel of latitude.

These differences between north and south could not exist, if the earth were a globe, turning upon axis and moving in an orbit round the sun. the latitudes corresponding north and south, would have the same degree of light and heat and the same general phenomena. The distance round a globe would be the same at 50 degrees south as at 50 degrees north, and the surface at the two places would pass under the sun with the same velocity, and the light would approach in the morning and recede in the evening in exactly the same manner. There would be a sameness of phenomena north and south, if the earth were a globe; but the differences are in harmony with the doctrine of the circular-plane of the earth and ocean.

5 The meridian lines diverge southwards, and the degrees of longitude increase accordingly; but if the earth were a globe, the degrees of longitude northward or southward from the equator would diminish.

From the known distance between two places in the south on or abut the same latitude, and the difference of solar time (or difference in longitude) we can calculate the length of a degree at that latitude.

Forbidden Archaeology Lies

Doing my research on an old book that supports a flat earth, I came across a video of forbidden archaeology. I had watched a few minutes of a guy talking before a MUFON, LA group and it’s as bad as watching someone talking on Darwin and evolution! MUFON is a national group that does research into UFO and Alien sightings. Now, at one time I believed in this, UNTIL I learned about the flat earth. Anyhow, this guy talked about the extreme antiquity of humans beings on the earth (4 billion years) and that our start came from some Alien intervention. (By the way, I never believed in the billions of years of life, but just in UFOs and Aliens.)

Of course, you see right away that it gets people away from Yahweh, God, our Creator, and the Bible. Creationists believe that Adam, the first man, was created about 4,000 years B.C. This is determined by the age of each Prophet (in the same geological line) in the Bible.

I see that one day soon the government will come out and support the UFO group, as they see that evolution, through gradual genetic change, is bankrupt. So, what will be mainstream will be “we were created by advanced Aliens of some distant planet.”

Now, with the word “forbidden” used, it attracts a lot of people, as people who believe in UFO and Alien visitation, also believe in conspiracies, and the the government lies. Naturally, they gravitated towards something that looks like is opposed to the Establishment. They learned that the mainstream archaeologists don’t believe in UFOs, so the opposite must be true. No, this is nothing but leading those who are searching for the truth down a wrong road – both of which leads to a denial of God’s Word!

Don’t think that those who believe in this “forbidden archaeology” are a few disgruntled people – they are not. Looking at videos on YouTube the stats show high numbers. You can see this by looking at the thumbnails of these videos. The numbers are in the hundreds of thousands each!

If you haven’t seen any of these forbidden archaeology videos, watch one or two of them and notice all the things that are said that is contrary to Scripture. Then, you’ll see how dangerous this teaching is. Here is one here (about this guy that I listen to for a few minutes) Click Here.

It is these people, the people who go to UFO conventions, that have to be reached with the flat earth truth – followed by Bible truth. Once they see the logic, they will have no choice but to discard the science fiction belief of ancient antiquity of the human race, people from other planets, and that we were genetically manipulated to be what we are today.

I thought I would bring a Bible study in the discussion of the flat earth. This topic would be the words “heaven and earth”. If we examine some of the verses that have the words “heaven” and “earth” we will see how this relates to the flat earth.

(Exo 20:4) Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

(Deu 4:39) Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.

(Jos 2:11) And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath.

Here, we are plainly told that earth is beneath heaven. This has great importance in knowing the shape of the earth that we are living on.

If earth is a globe, as we are told, picture this: a globe earth and a section above it with heaven. You can draw this as an area either as big as earth or larger somewhere above. Now, what is wrong with this. Well, to some people heaven is above, but to the other half of the people, heaven is below – IF we live on a sphere.

If you live in Canada, for example, and you see heaven above somewhere; you point up. Now, the people in New Zealand, if they point up, it would be in the opposite direction. So, that could not be heaven. To point to the section of the sky that the Canadians do, they would have to point BELOW, indicating through the earth to to the sky in their direction. This would not be above – as the Bible says.

If Heaven was only above one section of the earth, then even that section would not be under Heaven all the time; since ‘we are told’ that the earth spins, that means that half the day Heaven would be beneath you.

Here are some more verses:

(1Ki 8:23) And he said, LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee with all their heart:

(Jer 31:37) Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.

(Joh 3:31) He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.

Now, a person like Kent Hovind would say, and did say in his flat earth video discussions that, “This is metaphor.” This is his blanket statement to any Bible verse that us flat eathers woud use. Read these verses carefully – do they sound like a metaphor?

Again, Kent has done good work in debunking evolutionists, but when he talks on the flat earth he is wrong. Picture this, someone who is not a Christian but is open to what they say, comes to someone who is a Christian but does not believe in the flat earth. Now, if he went to hear a sermon for the first time and it happened to be on debunking the flat earth, they would hear something like Hovind said in his video.

When this person hears: “Well this is a metaphor,” or “That is a metaphor.” and it doesn’t sound a like a metaphor to this person who is seeking the truth, what will he think? He’ll think, “Maybe the whole Bible is a metaphor or talking in symbolic language. If I need someone to “interpret” the Bible for me, I’ll leave it here in the pew and go my own way!”

What I’m saying is, that by wrong preaching, it turns people away from Christ and from becoming a Christian.

No matter what the intentions is of Kent and Company, they turn people away from the Gospel. But, thanks be Yahweh, God, that he knows the heart of man and will lead them to the truth – if they are really seeking it.

Back to heaven above the earth. For the sake of argument, say heaven is the size of the earth. You have the solar system we are told we live in. So, where would you place heaven that it would be above the earth? Would it be above the plane of the solar system? Would it be off the sheet of paper? If it was off the sheet of paper, would be be 100 miles from you? Would it be in the next country, north-east of your in the town of Branson, Missouri? So, how would this be above the people on the earth? After all if the universe is billions of light years in diameter, you could easily have Heaven 1,000 miles away from you. But even this would be small in comparison to where Heaven could be in relation to the earth.

You have millions of Christians who believe in the Universe but not in evolution and that it got started 6,000 years ago, like Hovind and Company. Then you have Christians who believe it took 13 billions years for us to get here but we were created by God somewhere along the way. What I’m saying is, no matter what these Christians believe in, they all have a problem of where to put Heaven. Of course, you have those who say that all these verse are NOT to be believed literally, so they create an easy cop out to escape dealing with the Bible verses.

In a Universe that is billions of light years in diameter (or whatever shape), no matter where you put Heaven, it will not be above all the people on earth – simply because you can’t do that on a globe. You can get Heaven above a part of the population but not the rest. Now, if you put Heaven somewhere so far away, let me ask you this, what is above? Yes, what is above? What is below? There is no up down, north or south in a Copernican Universe that is like the model we are given – even heliocentric believers will tell you this. And if you are a heliocentric believer, you run into a problem with your Bible. So, when you are in a fix and you can’t get out of it, you just say these Bible verses are not to be believed literally. Then, people who are not firm in their beliefs will view the Bible as something you cannot really read, understand and rely on. Thus, those who hate Christ will have achieved their goal – driving people away from the God of the Bible.

If you are a Christian and believe in the Copernican Universe, and you put heaven ALL around earth, in all directions so as to completely cover it, you run into problems. Heaven would not be just above but below, too. It would also be on all sides. The word “above and below” would lose all meaning. And, where would heaven be in relation to the the earth? Can you really say it was below, when, if you travel a bit further you would be in Heaven again? No, a believe in the Copernican model of the Universe would make the Bible have no sense – at least in these verse.

As a side note, if there was a Universe as we are told and man went into space, he would COMPLETELY lose all sense of direction. We wouldn’t know where to go. I would compare this to being in a “white out”. If you don’t know what a white out is or never experienced it, let me explain. A “white out” is in a blinding snow storm where there is snow on the ground, and snow falling so think that you can’t see other object or colors except white. When you try to walk you have no idea where you are; your sense of direction is completely gone. Skiers on mountains during a snow storm will tell you this. You can even be in your town and experience this. Imagine being out in space, this is how it would be. So, all this nonsense of space exploration and visitation from Aliens from other planets is just a lie.

Yahweh, God gave us a plane where there is an “up” and “down”. And everything is in relation to that. He showed us, by these verses, that Heaven is higher than earth, His ways are higher than our ways, His throne is ABOVE THE EARTH. And, you can’t have God’s throne in a Copernican Universe and have it make any sense.

When we look at these verses as literal – which is what they are – the earth has to be flat. The earth can’t be anything else in light of these scriptures. This also means that Heaven is flat, too. Picture a floor that is called Heaven, and below that is another floor that is earth. The floors of both places have to be level and they have to be parallel to each other.

Christians who believe in a Universe that is taught us in school, would have to believe in a Heaven that it speeding and turning through space just as fast as the earth is suppose to be; Heaven would have to mirror all the gyrations that earth goes through. When you think of it, it’s all nonsense. No, the earth is flat and stationary and Heaven above is flat and stationary.

In short you cannot mix Scripture with lies. If you combined the two, you’ll get either bad science or you’d have to distort the meaning of various verses of the Bible to suit the lie. Unfortunately, this is what heliocentric Christians do; they are left with a belief in junk-science and distorted Scripture.
