Many Christians believe if you believe in Christ, that you’ll have smooth sailing in life. When things still go wrong, they doubt their belief. Also, non-believers would criticise you and point out your problems, while they – seemingly – don’t have any. Well, smooth sailing is not what you’ll get in life when you are a Christian. Think of the Pilgrims that first landing in the Wilderness (America), they did not have smooth sailing. Think of all the Apostles, they did not have an easy life. But this is part of the Christian life – as you’ll find out in this sermon.
In short, don’t start doubting God. Don’t think that He abandoned you. Follow along in scripture with Pete Peters.
