Why does “Thanksgiving Day” have

such an effect on our people? Why is such

a “feast” held in America; sanctioned by

both civil and church powers? Why ONLY

in America? Just what is this strange and

unique ritual in which we participate each

year? It’s related only to our Christian

heritage? Or is it perhaps older than the

Christian doctrines? Let us examine the

Bible, and see.
