A good video to show your sceptic friends. Here is a suggestion. When you go out, take your iPad with you (if you have one), and have this and other videos like it downloaded on your device. So, even if you don’t have an iPhone (like me) and internet connection, you can still show the video. Before you do that, ask them a simple question like, “Why is it you can’t see a boat as it travels away?” They will most likely say, “It went behind the curve (as one person told me just recently).” If they say, “Because it’s too far to see,” then promt them with, “Could it also be because it went behind the ‘curve’?” Get them to say that, then show this video. Thou it’s not a boat, the point remains the same.
