According to II Timothy 3.16, the Holy Bible was given to us for “doctrine, reproof, correction and instruction in righteousness.” Moses wrote, in Deuteronomy 4.6, that God gave Israel His Word to make them a wise and understanding people. And down through history we find that when Israel listened to the Word and obeyed it, she was blessed. Of course, this has been true of America in their early history. However, America has been cursed to the degree that they disobeyed God’s Laws, Statues and Judgements. And, you can say the same to the other nations of Christendom, too.
