The Great Earthquake and Shaking of the Earth
Many times some flat earthers will use the part of Scripture where it says, “the shaking of the earth,” as another proof that the earth is not speeding through space. While it’s true that the earth IS stationary and has foundations, but to use some of the verses that the flat earth believers use to support their arguments is wrong.
In the book of Revelation we read of a “mighty earthquake” and that it will shake the world. Now, Revelation is a book that many Christians get wrong. Most Christians are taught that the beasts and the pouring out of the vials on the earth is literal. So, too, they think that the earthquake “that shakes the world” is literal, also. This is not true. Revelation is symbolic and not literal.
Why most Christians get Revelation wrong is that the preachers hold the truth from them. In order to know what the last book of the Bible means you have to go back to the Prophets of the Old Testament. Do you search for “shaking of the earth” there and you’ll get a better understanding of what it means.
We also have heard from good people that there will be a major earthquake in Yellowstone National Park in America. Well, it might come but keep in mind major earthquakes have always been with us but what I’m talking about here is a so-called “earthquake” that will destroy the world.
As a side note, you can learn a lot more in the video posted below and others in this series. This article is but a recap of the whole video.
There will not be a great earthquake that will destroy the whole flat earth will not be destroyed by some mighty earthquake. So, let’s begin our research…
The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly. (Isa 24:19)
The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel. (Joe 3:16)
Haggai 2.6-7 earth shall shake, I will shake all nations,
For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; (Hag 2:6)
There are many more verse to be sure in the Old Testament but now let’s read what is in Revelation. In Revelation the chapters of 16, 17 and 18 are about world governments and it is the world governments that will be destroyed. The analogy is LIKE that of a great earthquake.
Here is an old sermon so what the pastor talks about is not current news but it’s applicable today none-the-less.
This video was made about 35 years ago and it’s very relevant to today.
The world governments, as you know, are pushing for integration, integration. We constantly read in the news of the immigration problem – whether it be in North America or Europe. We see videos of hoards of non-Christians coming in. In fact, many Patriots that don’t have a firm foundation in God’s word and think that it will the end of the Christianity and the White Race. Well, this is not so. When you read in Scripture you’ll find out differently. So, let’s read what God says.
And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and flee every one into his own land. (Isa 13:14)
And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. (Rev 21:24)
We must keep in mind first that God created the nations and established the boundaries thereof. Here we read in Isaiah of a prophecy and we read near the very end of the last book in the Bible of “nations” again. You cannot have a nation unless you have some common denominators and a major one is that of race. The New World Order can call anything by any name but is it true. You can have the most polyglot mixture and the antichrists will call it a nation but it is not.
A lot more can be said on Revelation, modern-day Babylon and the fact that nations will still be here but that would take a book.
