Necessity for Gods Law in Society

Necessity for Gods Law in Society

Weekly Sermon, 16 September 2023

By Pastor John Weaver

This sermon by Pastor John Weaver emphasizes the importance of understanding and applying God’s law in our daily lives and in society as a whole. That God’s law is holy, just, and good, and that it is necessary for creating just and moral societies. The author of the text argues that God did not come to nullify or abrogate the law of God, but rather to fulfill it by putting it into full force. The text suggests that we can use God’s law as a guide for our personal conduct, as well as for creating just and moral societies.

This also suggests that most people have failed to understand and perceive the proper uses of God’s law in its theological, personal, societal, and national usage. The Apostle Paul in First Timothy, chapter one in verse eight said that the law is good if a man use it lawfully. This tells us that there are some lawful uses of God’s law, and that we should strive to use it in a way that is consistent with God’s will. The text also suggests that there are some unlawful uses of God’s law, and that we should be careful not to use it in a way that is inconsistent with God’s will.

Weaver argues that the law of God is absolutely necessary in every aspect of life, and that it is essential to society. Without God’s law, society will collapse. The author of the text argues that we have forgotten God’s law, and that we have replaced it with humanistic law. The text suggests that we must be ruled either by the Bible or by the bayonet, or the strong arm of man, or by the word of God. The author of the text argues that he prefers to be ruled by God and be in submission to his law and his word.

That we must be as holy and as godly, and as obedient as we can be. The author of the text argues that God was willing to spare Sodom and Gomorrah if he found righteous people, and that we must obey God and his law if we want to avoid destruction. The text suggests that we should pray for understanding and discernment so that we can walk according to God’s will.

In summary, God’s law is holy, just, and good, and that it is necessary for creating just and moral societies. That we can use God’s law as a guide for our personal conduct, as well as for creating just and moral societies. The author of the text argues that we have forgotten.
