Here is an interesting article and two videos about flat earth in the news.

I’d like to make two comments on the first video. It shows a flat earth believer approaching strangers with the question: “Do you know that the earth is flat?” Or similar questions and statements. While this gets a person’s attention, I, personally think this is not the best approach. As many people will be immediately turned off and think that you are a nutter (as you’ll see in the video). If he tried with statements that makes a person think about what they have been told and to question it, this will make some people more receptive when the words “flat earth”. That is my take on it anyhow.

The other comment I’d like to make is about a guy who is trying to debunk the flat earth people – without success, of course. He comes across as scholarly but he really appears as the classic “egg head” person.
